Brenda, my sister, over at We Are All in This Together has a weekly Weighing in Wednesday link. I thought I would join in since I need the support.
I failed this week
I started off on Wednesday great. Valerie had given me really good tips on Tuesday. I was finally going to drink enough water to keep me hydrated, exercise and cook at home. Thursday and Friday were also good days. Let me tell you, my body felt GREAT on those days! I think my body finally had all the water it could take.

Then on Friday I had an asthma attack during my 15 minute walk with my Mom. I remember thinking, how sad that I cannot even walk 15 minutes without my body failing me. I couldn't breath which doesn't help the exercise case. I also had a really bad cold which helped lead to the asthma problem.
Saturday and Sunday I was feeling down. My nose wouldn't stop running, my cough was deep and my back hurt from all the coughing. I was still having a hard time with asthma and honestly hurt whenever I tried moving. We ordered in and Saturday and Sunday. My whole family was sick. We were all wrapped up in our individual blankets with our own box of tissues.
Anyway, I failed. Miserably.
This weekend I am going to see my Mother-in-Law and Father-in-Law. There is really good food that I look forward to eating while I am down there. My goals this week are to:
- Drink at least 48 oz. of water and try not to have any pop
- build up my cardiovascular system by walking at least 10 minutes a day
- cook at least 5 times a week
I really want to lose weight. I realize that I need to break my bad habits to do it. I cannot feel defeated when I make a mistake.
