Sunlight through the roof

Yesterday morning we had a roofer come look at our roof to see why it is still leaking.  The news wasn't good.  He took pictures and showed me the sunlight shining through our roof into an attic.  I always try to be positive.  I called my mom and told her perhaps we will start star gazing through the roof.

The roof is one of the problems that has been consuming my thoughts for the past two years.  There is never enough for saving for a roof.  There aren't any programs that will help people above the poverty level who are still struggling to get by.

I don't know why I am sharing this with you all.  Perhaps it is so you know that I do have every day problems.   Although I only try to share positive, uplifting things, sometimes life can throw curve balls.  I know I will get through this.  I know that life will work out in the long run.

About 10 years ago the problem was my husband's knee surgery.  We had to sell our Cape Cod home.  I was worried the whole time we were going through that mess.

Last years worry was losing our income because of my husband's broken ankle and two surgeries.  We got through that.

If I was going to leave a positive message it would be to let you all know that big problems that turn our lives upside down will be the future's learning blocks.  Have you ever had a big problem that you look back on now as a learning time?
