A woman who loves sweatpants

First, I want you to think about a woman shopping in sweatpants and a t-shirt with her hair up in a bun.  What do you see when you think about it?  Now if they woman is overweight, does it change your image?

From http://www.highsnobiety.com
I am a woman who loves going out in sweatpants, but after some comments that should have never been said, I try not to go outside anymore in sweatpants.  Why can't people stop judging others based on clothing?  I wore them for comfort and I thought I didn't care what other people thought about me.  Sweatpants are the one clothing choice that I have never heard anyone say "She is too fat to wear that."  I am one of the fashion-challenged woman.

I was reading my son's last speech teacher's Facebook account and she said "How would you feel if your mom brought you to the first day of school and she was wearing a shirt that said 'I am Easy to Use and Operate'".  I for one wouldn't wear the shirt, but I immediately had an image about a blonde, younger woman who probably wasn't married.  Then I started thinking "Why can't she pick out what she wants to wear without people immediately thinking bad things about her?"  Perhaps this woman has a great sense of humor and doesn't care what others may think.

  1. I think I would laugh hysterically seeing someone with the "I am easy to use and operate" t-shirt. It would make my day kinda like Bob's t-shirt that says something about rubbing for good luck
