With the holidays coming up, I need to remember that I do not need to eat all of the food just because it is there.  I am not sure about all of you, but I can easily gain 10 pounds between Thanksgiving and New Years Eve.  My family has always had large, buffet style dinners and a lot of desserts in that time frame.  Recently, MyBlogSpark and Fiber One Bran Cereal sent me a prize pack, the same one that one of my lucky readers will win.  I also found out that eating Fiber will make people feel fuller, faster, which will cut down on the "need to eat" feeling.

    Munch on a whole piece of fruit, in place of drinking a glass of juice. You’ll get the nutrients and the fiber too.

  16. I try to eat a lot of fruits and veggies and whole grains and I keep an online food journal of everytthing I eat to keep me accountable. But I also allow myself one small treat every day (=chocolate!). I need to work on the excercise thing though. Ugh.

  45. When I am hungry or craving something bad, I drink water. Usually the first sign of dehydration is what feels like hunger (but isn't!).
