Betty Crocker Instant Mashed Potatoes Review + Giveaway (ends 11/7)

I want to thank MyBlogSpark and Betty Crocker for sending me the same prize pack that will be given to one of my lucky winners.

My 11 year old son recently made the Instant Garlic potatoes and pork chops as part of dinner. The potatoes were easy for him to prepare. I believe it is an easy part of the meal that a child can help make. I added a bit more milk than the directions called for, because I like my my potatoes creamy. You can even add more butter to get them to your desired taste and constintency. The taste of these were a strong garlic taste.  My husband and son loved the potatoes.  I like the Creamy Butter flavor more.

The Instant potatoes saved me about 30-50 minutes.  Usually we have to peel then cut up and cook the potatoes.  My family regularly eats about 5 to 10 pounds of potatoes a week.  I have to tell you that when I am in a hurry to feed my family with little prep time, I will be using the Betty Crocker Instant Potatoes by now on.  I am excited to try their Au Gratin flavor!  There is a coupon link below for anyone that wants to try them.

"To find a delicious side dish that’s easy to prepare and tastes homemade, look no further than Betty Crocker’s® Boxed Instant Mashed Potatoes, which are made with 100% real potatoes.

With a just-like-mom’s taste, Betty Crocker Boxed Instant Mashed Potatoes go from stovetop to table in just eight short minutes. Based on a scratch recipe, the Homestyle Creamy Butter variety will have your family thinking you spent hours in the kitchen the next time you serve up a hearty helping. If you prefer an extra kick of flavor, give the Roasted Garlic variety a try. And with two pouches in every box there’s plenty to go around.

Be sure to try the Au Gratin flavor variety, too! For more information, visit BettyCrocker.com, and be sure to follow Betty Crocker on Twitter and “Like” the Facebook page to keep up with all of the latest news on your Betty Crocker favorites!
